Alter–G Anti Gravity Treadmill
The Alter–G anti-gravity treadmill® gives you the opportunity to rehabilitate from surgery, or train through an injury, without pain. AlterG's unique unweighting technology reduces the impact of walking or running while your body is going through the normal healing process. ASTYM© is evidence-based, regenerative, soft-tissue therapy that quickly resolves musculoskeletal and scar tissue cases resulting in consistent, successful, patient outcomes.
Computerized Balance Testing
Most falls are preventable. By making a few adjustments, you can lower your chances of a fall. Our Balance and Fall Specialists have extensive training in both neurological and vestibular issues affecting gait and balance. Horizon patients enjoy a 106% increase in dynamic balance and a 57% increase in static balance, with 90% of balance goals achieved (on average).
Aquatic Therapy
Aquatic Therapy provides safe and efficient exercise to decrease pain, heal and improve stability. At Horizon Rehabilitation, we have the area's only indoor, heated, resistance therapy pool, as well as Certified Aquatic Therapists on staff.
